Our Bid Manager is responsible for developing our offer to clients – creating a response to tender opportunities that is compelling and demonstrates how we will meet their requirements. The Bid Manager is responsible for working with a multi-disciplinary team from across all parts of our business to deliver tender responses and assist in overall bid management to ensure that Eurovia UK’s businesses remain at the forefront of highways services in the UK.

As the Bid Manager you will be required to:

Managing the development of written proposals from storyboard to final response, including: writing, review, sign off and submission of the quality submission
Supporting the Bid Lead/Director in the overall delivery of the bid including development of Win Themes, facilitation of workshops, storyboarding, and management of the bid programme
Implementing and continuously improving bid processes, including supporting lessons learned and introducing best practice approaches
Reviewing tender documentation and client requirements, to assist the Bid Lead/Director in delivering a compliant and timely bid
Liaison with, and management of, a multi-disciplinary team including individuals at all levels within our business and a mix of internal and external resources including graphics, writers and reviewers

The Successful Bid Manager will have:

Proven experience of managing Bids/Quality Submissions, preferably in the infrastructure, construction, or highways sector, and/or public sector – local or central government contracts. Project management experience monitoring progress against programme, managing resources and chairing meetings
Production of high quality bid submissions on time and to budget
Building and maintaining good relationships with Clients, ideally, making presentations to clients and supporting marketing activities
Excellent communicator, articulate and with outstanding written English
Strong IT skills based on the MS office suite. Knowledge and experience of other publishing and document management systems such as SharePoint
Proven team/project management and writing ability – producing high quality and high impact submissions on time and to budget
